509J is proud to present their 2017 Eclipse Week, bringing education and resources about the upcoming eclipse to our community!  You won’t want to miss the culmination event next Thursday, May 18, from 6:00 – 9 pm at the PAC!  Some of the activities slated:

o Keynote Address:   NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Ted Talk:  “What is a Solar Eclipse and Why Should Madras Care?”   W. Dean Pesnell, NASA

o What NASA is Doing to Study the Sun: Conference Room, every 15 minutes

o OMSI Planetarium, Lobby

o Lowell Observatory Activity: Lobby –Speed of Light

o MHS SMILE Club Activity: Lobby

o JCMS SMILE Club Activity: Lobby

o Solar System Creation:  MHS Scott Coles & Students, Football Field
